Katie Sontag is a singer/songwriter and songleader based out of Eugene, OR. Described as "transcendental indie folk", Katie's songs are moving and insightful, creating a musical landscape that is uplifting, nurturing, and meaningful. Her songs range from lighthearted and silly (poking fun at herself as a scatterbrained new mother) to deep and vulnerable (the everyday grief of being human) and often triumph with an important truth that we all need to be reminded of —including her! Katie's voice is authentic and her vibrato is reminiscent of Joan Baez, pulling the listener into her intimate and truthful lyrics while her acoustic guitar accents her melodic lines. Katie’s music has been described as "a big hug”. At her concerts, you will laugh, cry, make new friends, and feel better than when you came!
