Another group with a long run was the husband-wife team 0f Ron & Lynne Jenkins. Singers, and drummers changed over the years, starting with Tom Craycroft (vocals) & Tim Lobb (drummer). Next was a 17 year old kid named Grant McIntosh was with the group for a couple of years. After Ton left a newcomer to these parts, Wayne Peters joined. We got a job playing 5 nights a week at the Red Lion Inn. Drummer Brad Kent joined. After several years Wayne left and Tom Craycroft returned for awhile. Various singers followed: Kevin Lumly, the Australian, Gordon Tracy from Newfoundland, who sounded like Elvis Presley, and Kim Calloway. Al Strugeon and John Ralph were later drummers. Tom Rains came after Grant, then Bob Hart and his wife Bonnie joined. He was from the United States and sang & played lead guitar, steel guitar and keyboards. After the Gamblers disbanded, Bob and Ron went on as a duo called Yesterday's Wine.Through all those years, only one recording existed from a Shaw TV video of the band with Tom Rains singing.
