Superposition | A Creative Connections Film

A meditation on creation, collaboration, and the unseen field between imagination and reality.

This short film was created at Creative Connections #2 a collaborative event where filmmakers, photographers, and performers came together to explore the art of creation through light, movement, and trust.

The voiceover began as a monologue about vision, collaboration, and the field of possibility that exists before every act of creation. As it was being written, an unexpected connection sparked across the world when Australia based voice artist Daniel O’Connor @BearDanVO reached out to connect and ended up offering to bring the words to life. Within hours, the recording arrived, and the idea became real.

Every element in this piece was born from that same current of synchronicity. The flow performance by Nicole Mandujano, the lighting by Kyle B. Kerr, the fog by Michael Caron with assistance from Phaedra McConnell, and the inspiration from SKZM @theSKZM (Mike Beard and Ashley Desjarlais) all became part of a living network of shared vision.

At its heart, this film is about the act of creation itself: how imagination takes form through collaboration, how uncertainty becomes freedom, and how the future is built by those willing to see, to speak, and to build together.
